Hello, I am Nasario.I am the second oldest of three offspring and my name was gifted to me by my parents for being the first male child. Consequently, I proudly carry my father’s name. If I were to describe myself, I would say that I am the type of person who loves to help and support others, as well as being a courteous young man. The reason that I define myself as this person is because I truly like to assist people. For example, one day I was walking with my mother through our neighborhood and as we head back home I spotted a woman that was having difficulties getting her grandmother off the car, the moment that I saw this I rushed up and volunteered to help. Subsequently, I carefully helped her off and received a huge, warm thank you from

The immeasurable space surrounding the Coruscant-Metello trade route was just as busy as it usually was. All things considered, no irregularities usually appeared on the route, yet the regular inhabitants tasked with exploring barely bat an eye, regardless of a few ships coming from the distant core worlds. Presently, peculiar for a brief time, the deep chasm of space gave way for the hull of a small republic transporter just above the expansive orbit of the planet; jumping out of hyperspace for the last of its journey. As if on cue, passengers stood to revel at the sight of the thriving planet of Coruscant, dedicating their time to a period of awe while the view of the planet shifted just out of their sight.…

The first of my struggles came from being born to two teenage parents without at least a high school education, and although my mother went on to get a GED and to college my father did not. Many people in my family had issues with substance abuse and addictions including my father. Although, I was raised by my mother and grandmother, my father’s actions and behaviors negatively impacted my life. When I think about the boy who I was growing up, the young adult I am today, and the man I plan to be in the forthcoming years, one aspect of my life stands out to me far more radiantly than anything else: my culture, my skin, my identity as a Bangladeshi-American. There aren't many clubs or organization for Bangladeshi Americans such as myself. Make no mistake, there are certainly events for Bangladeshis living in the United states, many that I have attended due to various entreaties from my parents. These are event where the only language spoken is one that I barely speak (Bengali), the only music conversed about is that which I don't listen to or understand, and the only events discussed happen in another country that I have spent only a…

One time, I helped my friend get through a rough time at home. I wasn’t able to ever be there because she lives in florida and her name is Amarissa Chloe. The reason why she needed help was because her parents were fighting constantly and she needed someone to talk to to just drown out the sounds of them fighting, so therefore I called her every morning when she wakes up to tell her good morning, and every night I called her to tell her goodnight and sleep well and to text me or either call me if she needed something. One day her parents got divorced and it was even hard on her to keep up with school and going to court, having to go to one house to another.…

Over the past two months I have spent numerous nights filling yards with flamingos while the families inside slept unknowing of what was happening. I spent a night teeter tottering for six hours and made blankets the day after. When I worked at a grocery store I used to stop during my walk back, and return to buy groceries. These are all things I do nearly out of impulse because of how I was raised and who I am. Growing up I learned from a young age that if someone you know needs something, you give what you can.…
