I’m really dumb, but like I said so exited! I’m also really tired, so please forgive me. I am writing this …show more content…
To be honest, a lot of it is true. It is really hard to look at it from outside (so to speak) and really understand and appreciate everything it has to offer. I am in Greek Life and still do not understand it all. I’m going to be straight up with you right now. It is culty. Every sorority and fraternity is in their own way. There are secret sayings, handshakes, lots of singing, clapping, snapping and much more. I had a really hard time with all of that until I fully emerged myself and have come to find that it is a really, cool, neat, important, life changing thing. It is actually really fun to have over 350,000 women across the globe that we have facts and secrets and other cool helpful tips that only we know. I don’t mean to sound boastful about knowing things, I just think sororities are really amazing organizations that do some weird but very cool stuff. It is weird. Everyone Greek member can attest to that. But it is so cool and everyone loves it. I know it is so annoying, but the reason everyone always wear their Greek letters and talk about it is because we love it and it makes us so happy. I am a very guilty of this and I am sorry. Chio and greek life really does mean the world to me. I’m not suggesting you should Go ChiO cause that is against the rules. I’m suggesting you should rush and Go Greek. Don’t get me wrong, I would be stoked and so happy to have these things to bond and laugh over if you were a Chio! But all houses are amazing. Also, the Greek community has there own little language and words that you pick up in over time. It is weird, but a really fun and interfacing way to go throughout
