The revelation occurred to me when I was watching the movie Tangled for the first time. It was memorizing. Rapunzel looked up at the lanterns, terrified that she would never find her new dream. Finally, she realizes that what she wants to pursue is right in front of her. I had an epiphany that mine was staring me in the face as well. Nothing compares to that moment of clarity. From that day on I began to appreciate animation, the time and patience it takes to create life. It is beautiful. Everything finally made sense; the countless hours teaching myself how to draw, my love for stories, character development, and art. I began to notice how movement can define people. It fascinates me how based on someone’s walk one can have a preconceived perception of that person. In animation, I can create characters that will have an impact. My life aspiration is to make a memorable impression on someone. I want a part of me to live forever through my art. I strongly feel this major will help we accomplish this. Thus, my one true desire is to learn and discover the world of
