I rapidly turn my head to the side and tightly shut my eyes. When the noise I heard was not the flesh being ripped off of my bones, I was immensely relieved. But the sound I did hear was a little unsettling the noise was a deafening shriek that, no doubt, came from the exceedingly frightening bear. I tentatively opened my sore eyes to gaze upon the now defeated bear. It had a large spear protruding from it’s chest. Then I saw a figure off behind the bear. It hesitated, but it finally walked forward. To my surprise it was a tall strapping man with dark brown hair and deep tanned skin. He strode up to me and offered me a hand. Accepting, I asked him his name. “Akamu, it means red earth.” “Cameron, a pleasure to make your acquaintance,” I said. Continuing, I asked, “Where am I?” Accepting the question, he gladly answered, “We are in Molokai, which is sadly one of the least visited of the Hawaii island chain,” Akamu stated, obviously up set. Nodding my head in acknowledgment, I asked, “Where is the closest village?” “Follow me I will take you to my village,” Akamu said, with a little more enthusiasm. It was up to me, this time, to choose an appropriate place for travel. Like always I chose a totally unacceptable place that no one would have ever chosen. My choice was Antartica. Starring the the dumbfounded expressions of my best friends I tried my hardest not to laugh. Then my closest friend asked, “You can’t be serious. How are we even supposed to get gear for that kind of weather?” “We always find a way to gear for all your adventures,” I countered. “Yeah because I have never suggested Antarctica,” he said raising his voice. Trying to avoid a fight, I said calming, “I will find a way to get the gear.” “Okay then,” my friend said, raising his hands defensively. Somehow I was able to get the gear for us to be able to travel while in Antarctica. I also called a travel agency and got a pilot to fly us to Antarctica. We traveled across the ocean when devastation struck. Sirens blared, my friends panicking, the captain yelling warnings from the loudspeaker. I shot out of my seat and rushed to the area with the parachutes. I was tossing the parachutes to all the my friends and the captain, when the plane lurched to one side and I slid and hit the door busting it wide open.
