Writing helps me relax and ease my mind with what I'm going through. I am not the best at writing, but I am not terrible either. I have always enjoyed writing and creating different stories.
Moreover, I fell in love with writing when I was going through a dark time in my life. Writing would help me release all the thoughts I couldn’t let out through words. I suffer from Anxiety, so whenever I feel overwhelmed I go to release stress with writing about my day, what’s bothering me, or make up stories in my journal. I personally believe that writing

I can tell one of my own experience or share one as though I am telling a story to my younger siblings. This style of writing also allows me to change the mindset of the reader and stimulate deep thought on the matter at hand. When I first begin writing I decide on my topic. Once I have decided on a topic I begin to think of stories that relate to the topic. For example when writing my Things That Bug Me essay I wrote about racism and how I was irritated by it.…

My journal is my connection to the past, and my grip on the future. The root of my journal entries date back to 2009, when my exuberant eight-year old self passionately wrote about the consequential day Barack Obama, the first African American President, was inaugurated into office. Although my grammar skills were clearly not up to par, I created a successful journal entry which solely reflected that of my voice, individuality, and creativeness. Within this entry I even took note of how graceful Michelle Obama was, naively misspelling her name, “Mishelle.” Humorously, I also expressed, “I’m not so sure what a Republican is.”…

I woke up in the corner of my room where I had made a small bed on the floor last night, for the second time. I remembered the reason why I slept on the floor and looked over towards my bed to see the boy still sleeping. I got up and changed his bandages and moved his stuff and the towels from in the washer to the dryer. After I finished putting everything into the dryer and starting it, I went back into my room to grab my writing assignment that was assigned in class yesterday and I went downstairs to write. After looking around the house to make sure nobody was home, I sat on the couch in the living room, trying to think of what to write.…

If you as a person have lot of problem to get off your chest or say, but you can’t really express them in talking about it with another person, you can try to write all what going on at that time down on a piece of paper to express what going on in word to make it easier to say. Growing up I have always enjoyed writing, I view writing as the most effective way to tell your true feeling, because sometimes telling how you feel to someone that person can rebut or cut in to what you saying. Writing makes what you want to say come across exactly how you mean it and how you want it to come across In my current stage in life I do not like writing in any form not even texting. When I think about writing or have to do a writing assignment I get poignant memories and it just makes the whole experience terrible. To me, writing is like a bridge between the creativity of my brain and the concrete results yielded in the form of essays short stories, and poems. Writing is an exceptional creative outlet, and there is enjoyment in both the creation and seeing others enjoy the outcomes. Personally, I enjoy reading and writing works of fiction the most. I’ve written short stories describing random events in life, I’ve written extensive histories of worlds I created, and I’ve even drawn characters just so I could describe them and give them all interconnecting backstories. I have found that through writing, I can channel my creativity in extremely unique ways because in writing, I can have my own style, my own word choice, and my own world to describe however I see fit.…
