The team I am most proud to be on is the women’s soccer team here at Oneonta State. I worked the hardest to be on this team. The ideals of the team reflect how each of the members on the team see the game of soccer. Everyone holds each other to a high standard and expects one another to always give a hundred percent every time we step on the field. Every member always wants to improve and not settle for what we have accomplished. Soccer also plays a major role in there lives. Everyone on the team has the love of the game and is a great player. Playing has turned me in to someone who never wants to give up, someone that works hard to achieve goals, and not just go through the motions. Soccer has helped me make friendships and memories that I will always remember. I have learned many life lessons through the success and failure of playing the game. It is hard work, dedication, and love of the game that makes me who I am today. Soccer is what identifies me. It is such a fundamental part of my life and I have a hard thinking about what my life will be like when I'm no longer able to play. I think I will never stop watching soccer or doing something that relates to it. I know I have come a long not only as an athlete but also as a person as a result of playing soccer.
