Decent Essays
How I spent my time outside of school is different from most people. Most would go out with friends to see the latest movie, and some go home and catch up on the latest episodes of their favorite TV show. I stayed at school for over 4 hours everyday to participate in sports. I was a Varsity Cheerleader for 2 years , a catcher for the varsity girls softball team I also was a player on the Variety Basketball team. For cheer leading that was the first sport I ever participated in and that's where I discovered that I enjoy yelling from the top of my lungs while in a split. It was definitely hard because the coach depended on me more then the others. I would wake up at 5am and catch the city bus to be at the school by 6am so I could prepare a routine

A dilemma that I faced, and still am facing is simply the decision about what I want to do with my life after my high school career. In my freshman year of high school my goal was simply to get through the year in one piece. I was forced to conform to my new environment and all the strict rules that came along with it. With so much attention placed on me as a freshman like on the varsity basketball team, where I was constantly forced to prove my worth to the coach and the players, to stepping out of my comfort zone and performing in a mandatory play for the rest of the the school as…
