Personal Narrative: How I Gain And Lose Weight

Over the years, I’ve learned how to make myself gain and lose weight, at will. I thought about the times when I’d gain weight on purpose so I could audition for acting roles. There were also times when I lost weight, so I could audition as well. I was gaining and losing weight so much, that I decided to do it differently. I knew that constant participation in yo-yo weight transformations, wasn’t healthy for me. During the times that I went to auditions, and didn’t get the roles--I discovered that it’ll be smarter if I maintained a medium weight, that way it’ll make it easier for me, if I needed to gain or lose weight for a future casting call. I made it a priority to continue to stay focused on working out everyday and monitoring my eating and drinking habits. I’d been maintaining a certain weight for so long, that it took me a while to realize that I was doing exactly what I’d been trying to do for years That’s when it first dawned on me, that I had what it takes to …show more content…
Once I signed up at the gym I started working out at the gym the following week. I wanted to start fresh at the beginning of the week. I started working out five days a week. I ate three meals a day and two or three snacks a day. I’d continued eating desserts. I just made sure that I put in extra time, along with my regular workouts, to burn it off. Within two weeks, I started noticing some results. It inspired me to keep going. It also inspired me to come up with a workout plan and to create new goals. I set a 30-day goal to work towards. While I was half way into my 30-day workout plan, I set a 45-day goal. By the time I made it to day 30, I’d raised the bar to 60 days. I felt really good about my progress. I got so many compliments on my weight loss. Not only was I liking what people where saying, but I liked the reports that I was getting from my doctors even
