Personal Narrative: How Ebola Changed My Life

Once when we were watching tv, a show came on that my brother liked came on, and I hated that show. So I asked him if he could change it to something we both liked, He said: “Oh no this is my favorite show, I can’t change the channel.” So then I grabbed the remote and pressed fifty-six so it would change to a news station. I then ran away with the remote and locked myself in the bathroom. A few minutes later , my dad comes to the door and tells me to give back the remote. I do so and realized how defiant I was being and I learned my lesson. After that, I tried watching the show that my brother liked so much and I enjoyed it very much. That, my friends, is how I learned to try new things, and that is now why I admire all of the great things that I do. …show more content…
Later on, I died of Ebola in 1999 and had been reborn as the person I am today. I still try to be nice and carry on with my life, like this one time, I did a project for Mrs.Moore’s class and we had to use a tone word such as “sardonic”, and create a meme with it. That project was harder than it looked, but I finished it and of course my teacher had given me a perfect score. That project taught me not me not only to do my work, but to do it on time and with all my brain cells. From that moment on, I was a straight A student and that is the story of how I learned not to give up on
