This is a good time to tell you about my brother and myself. Ryan is three years older than me. So all through school I was known as "Little Murphy" which didn't bother me because my brother was a stand-out on the football and baseball teams. He lettered in both sports while holding a 3.0 grade point average. So to say I looked up to him is an understatement. One year I even became a manager on the football team so I could go to every game and watch him. My brother was known as the strongest player on the team. I had drifted off to sleep and but was woke up by my dad. He was panicking. As I looked at my mom, I saw tears running down her face. I asked, "What's was going on?" My mom told me to get your shoes and clothes on because my brother had been in a really bad wreck. When I asked if he was OK, my dad looked at me with tears in his eyes and said, "I don't know. The phone call I got was from a lady and she said he looked really bad and didn't know if he was alive or not but people were working on him." That was the longest ride I have ever had going to the hospital. I remember my dad praying out to God not to take his son. All I could think was how could he be hurt, I’ve seen him take some awful licks on the football field and baseball
