Erica: How big was the Ark?
Ryan: Well, it was huge. It was about 1 ½ football fields long and higher than a 4 story building. It had a deck that went around the boat that could hold 20 basketball courts. It was big & it was sweet.

The literary form and genre of the book of Genesis is prose: biblical and historical narrative. Biblical narratives in Genesis show that “God is active in His world” and these narratives typically “chose certain events to reveal God.” For instance, this element is apparent when the Angel of the Lord speaks to Hagar, granting her the promise of descendants (Gen 16:10). In the same manner, this element is reinforced in subsequent chapters (Gen 17:19; 18:10). In describing this book, it is significant to note that most of the characters in the narrative are flawed.…

How does one become “immortal”? To answer that you’d have to pick a definition of immortal. For me that definition is to be remembered for many years to come, most likely not by millions of people, but by a few. In reading the Epic of Gilgamesh something dawned on me, what would I want to be remembered for if I died today? Seeing as I’ve never truly considered it, it took me a good while to determine the things I would want to be written into the history books for.…

My story began back in 1988, when my parents met while working at Walt Disney World as cultural exchange workers from Canada. Their romance is a fairy tale. They had their first date at the Magic Kingdom, they spent all their days off on a Florida beach, and they experienced the technical magic that Disney is so well-known for.…
