Joining after school programs in High School has always kept me occupied by learning how I can help my community, taking college courses, and best of all I developed a passion playing Tennis. It came naturally to me but of course I showed up to practice every day to improve on my flaws. I wasn’t as slow like the way I was before my dieting started. My coach was aware of my medical history, which gave him an insight of what my performance would be like. Mr. Nepal my coach gave me his undivided attention during practice as well as academic help when I needed it. During my second year of high school, spring semester Mr. Nepal called me in to play as 2nd doubles with my practice partner Maya. From that day I have thrived for my health doing things I didn't think I could do. Monthly check ups with my doctor encouraged me to continue because my white blood cell had increased and was able to fight any invaders in my body. The tennis team has taught me how to work as a group and to be there for those who will need each other the most. For instance, my white blood cell had to work together to fight bacteria, as well as work with the red blood cells to keep my body healthy. Tennis became my pride and joy as I succeed as a player during my High school years. Junior year of high school when I attended the US Open with my mother, I saw players whose hard work has been put into a career. The sweat and grunts, the laughter and cries that showed me anything is possible with hard work and support. At the very end of the game my mom and I managed to get an autograph of Roger who was so generous to his fans. I soon graduated Hillcrest High school with a scholarship to play Tennis at Cornell University full time, which at the time seem like a great opportunity but I was limited due to my
