when does a kid become and adult? Is it on their 18th birthday? Or when they graduate from high school? or when they are living on their own and can physicaly and mentaly support themselves?

Kids become adults when they reach a certain maturity level. children tend to mature when they are in their mid- twenties because that's usually when life starts to hit them. Adults need to know that by letting your child rely on them into their teen years because it does not allow them to be independent when they grow up. Teenagers tend to think that once you turn a certain age they are an adult. In order for a teen to know what it's like to be an adult they must take responsibility for one's actions.
