After a hard day’s work, Greg decides to make a midnight store run. There’s a circle k convenience store, just up the road, not wanting to drive too far because of the rain, he stops in to grab some junk food.

Greg took her to his house and immediately called the police. He asked dispatch if there had been any missing children in the area, but they’d told him no, there wasn’t.

“Ok sir, we have officers on the way to you now.”

While they waited for the police to show up, Greg gave the girl a towel, to dry off and a blanket, to keep her warm. He offered her some of the junk food he had just bought, but she declined. It seemed like they had been waiting hours for the police, so Greg asked her a few questions, to lighten the mood.

The girl shook her head, no.
