Brennan was excited for this road trip. His son would be arriving in less than a month, so, this was his last chance to just let loose and have some fun before fatherhood. New Orleans was the perfect vacation spot too: he and Andy could spend the entire weekend visiting every bar in The French Quarter. Plus the food on Bourbon Street was amazing too. He was already holding two bags of beef jerky and four bottles of SmartWater, however, that didn't seem like enough to last he and Andy all the way to New Orleans. Heck, it wouldn't even last half an hour. He walked over to the candy rack and picked out four different kinds of chocolate bars, one of which he'd never heard of before. On his way up to the till, he stopped to pick up a box of Fiddle Faddle as well. Now it seemed like they had enough to last for a couple hundred miles. "Going far?" The cashier, an elderly lady missing most of her teeth, asked with a friendly smile. "Yup." Brennan replied. "Heading to New Orleans."

Brennan simply nodded and offered up a warm smile. "Uh, thank you." Then he noticed the CV radio behind the counter. It was sitting on a shelf and there was a Post-it Note stuck to it. ( $100, CV for sale ) "You're selling that radio?" Brennan asked, pointing towards it. She nodded in response. "Truckers sell us their old stuff and we sell it for 'em." So Brennan bought it. He had no idea why, but it seemed like a cool

The games were played at the Olympic Center where U.S.A beat the Soviet Union in 1980 in Lake Placid, New York.…

I was 13 years old, just starting off high school, when I realized what this dark cloud that’s been floating over me for the past couple of months really is. It wouldn’t be until more than a year later until I seek out professional help. It started off innocently enough as just a feeling of constant emptiness at the pit of my stomach. It slowly turned into randoms bouts of extreme rage, where I’d take out my anger physically, not just on the walls and mirrors of my childhood home and not just on my family, but on myself. I couldn’t understand why I felt this way, why I wasn’t “normal”.…

The downstairs was silent, sunlight danced through the windows and I couldn’t stop the stupid smile that had spread over my face, twisting my head either side to click my neck, snatching the remote of the side table of the three seater couch my thumb hit the power button and the Samsung beeped in reply, with a grin I collapsed back onto the couch, my butt making contact with a very hard substance. A loud wheeze quickly escaped the person I had sat on. Stranger’s eyelid’s pulled back slowly and his mouth opened slightly, his green eyes met mine before he lifted the hand that had been on the floor to rub his eyes,”Morning, Angel.” his voice was gruff due to sleep and his body rumbled beneath me.…

But back when I was in elementary school, I didn’t grasp this notion that home didn’t necessarily have to be where you had lived all your life so far. The idea of moving had never crossed my mind. Sure, I knew people who’d moved, and heard stories about it in the media, but the idea of packing up all your belongings and moving to a whole different place just seemed so…huge; bigger than I could comprehend; too big to even worry if it would happen to me.…
