Personal Narrative: Hobby Lobby

Decent Essays
My favorite store in the whole world is Hobby Lobby. Walking through their glass doors is like opening up a world full of possibilities. Creations are limitless in this place! Nothing but wall to wall encouragement to open your mind and explore your creative side. You can find any hobby your heart desires. You are exposed to so many different themes, colors, projects, and inspirations you will leave there knowing more about yourself than you did walking in.
I also admire their strong beliefs and not wavering on them even if costs them money. Do you know they are closed on Sundays? Giving their employees that day off for worship? I think that is pretty amazing! All in all the store is great, lots of choices and options. I definitely encourage

The room was silent, the only sound was coming from a tv in the other room. You could feel the angry vibes, as the door shut. After I read the chapter 3, I decided to make some changes to the first paragraph of my Rough Draft 2 "Two Popular Commercial Promoting Values" In the first paragraph of my essay. While most kids were outside playing in the mud and dirt, I was sitting inside on a couch, comfortable, clean, and happy to do so. As a child, I detested the idea of getting my clothes dirty. I loved to be able to maintain the pristine cleanliness of my outfit, so I often refused to play outside. Instead, I resorted to a crimson red Gameboy SP with a blazing LED screen, almost too big for my hands, for my childhood action. I’d live out intense fantasies in that three inch square.…

Those messages I now use on a daily basis most importantly in my career. One of the ethics that I could remember is to be caring and loyal friend, neighbor, family, or co-worker. Having these two ethicses has guided me to the field of psychology and is still helping me.…

I come from a poor family. I never had brand-name shoes or video games, or even a Lisa Frank binder and stickers like my friends at school, but I always had plenty of food in the fridge at home. My family never went hungry in spite of the fact that we were raised by a single mother who made her living as a coffee shop waitress. I did not know, till I was a teenager, that my mom bought the majority of our groceries with food stamps. It never seemed odd to me that she went to the grocery store one time a month and stocked up on milk, sugar, lunchmeat, chicken legs, hamburger meat, and most importantly, coffee.…

Every single time I clean my room a little Lego piece shows up somewhere: under my bed, in my drawers, in my closet, and probably several have been sucked up by a vacuum cleaner. Even for the past five years I have had a Lego Star Wars ARC-170 bomber laying on my dresser. Legos are a way for me to express my imagination: they enable me to build what I want when I want. I have spent countless hours just tinkering with these plastic pieces and setting up storylines to go along with them. Slowly, however, my time for Legos has been going away, and today I mostly just watch other kids play with them when they happen to come over.…

Module 3 Case 1 Chapter 8 Opryland America The media that Mark should use in advertising Opryland America are radio and television. Those methods of advertising are able to reach the most people at once. During those commercials, he can make sure to advertise that the tickets are almost half the cost of the hours but the shows have not sacrificed quality because the shows are just as good, as or better than competitors. The Trip to the Grocery Store I haven’t seen him in weeks or maybe even months, I thought as I glared across the small distance between where I was standing and my dad’s car. With my One Direction CD clutched in my hands, I started to close the distance by walking towards his car. I opened the door and slipped in, and then he started to drive to the grocery store. At the time I was under the illusion that my dad would be even slightly happy to see me, but no.…
