Personal Narrative: Hiking New Paths

After walking for miles, sweat trickled down my face as I sat on a damp log. I was unconvinced that an enormous feat could happen just underneath me, in silence. My eyes focused on the small bodied ants as if they were performers on stage. Methodically, the acrobatic ants clustered together and then sprang forward, grabbing each other in order to make an ant bridge. When I pose questions as to how something so peculiar could happen, I come to the realization that far greater powers are at play.
