Personal Narrative: Hi Patricia

Decent Essays
Hi Patricia, I was 13 years of age when I moved from India. I was fortune that I went to an English medium school that uses English as the primary medium for instruction. This made my transition in school easier, however culture difference was something I learned over time. Christmas, Good Friday, Halloween, St. Patrick Day, Thanksgiving, Valentine Day, and other holiday you learn and adapt to overtime. I am vegetarian so we make traditional India fun food such Bhel, Pani Puri, etc. when we have family gathering during thanksgiving. I am Dallas Cowboys fan so I especially enjoy thanksgiving games. I used to watch Cricket, but overtime started watching football, basketball, tennis etc. and absolute love it.
I believe adapting to changes

Rileigh Deitemeyer A phrase I have heard a lot over the years is, “You look just like your father”, and each time my father and I would exchange a glance that to us meant, “little do they know”.
