He's A Hero, but Then Again, He's Just My Dad
My Superman is not as strong, but just as caring, he's my dad. Unlike other heroes my dad teaches me and helps me get better. What makes my dad a hero is that he is protective, humorous, and challenges me.
My dad has been protective of just not me but of my sister and my mom. He has gone out of his was to make sure we are safe. One example of this was my sophomore year. My parents took me down to Virginia to go to my boyfriend's senior prom. While I was at the dance my mom told me that my dad was checking the app he has with our family's location on it, since he didn't know the area, to make sure I was where I was supposed to be at. Later that nigh, after the After Prom, me and my boyfriend got into a car accident not far from the hotel my parents where staying at. It was 1:00 in the morning and I called my dad. He came over to the accident and helped me fill out the paper the office gave me. I never left my dad's side that night, I felt so safe with my dad there, and a hero is someone that keeps you safe not matter what time it is. My hero of a father is protective and I've never felt safer.

He had his phone plugged into the radio with a charging cord. While dad is in my car the rest of us where inside, but out of no where we hear "Baby Got Back" by Sir-Mix-A lot booming from the garage. We opened the door and there is my dad grinning ear to ear while the song played. That moment made me smile, and still does make me smile. That's how humor makes my dad my

There are many reason he is my hero. The first and most important reason is, he will protect me and help me in everything, (as long as I didn't do the wrong thing.) Just like a fictitious super hero they help the right people and fight against the wrong. When I do good in school he helps me keep it up, but like now when I am behind and don’t have the best grades he helps me manage time and get back up there.…

When someone says “hero”, I don’t think of the stereotypical superman hero that is commonly recognized and associated with the word. I think of a normal, average person who goes out of their way to help or save someone in need. I take my parents as an example. They are ordinary people who help me and care for me, even though they don’t have any “superpowers”. They are kind, brave, and honest; three qualities that someone heroic or respected must have to be the way they are.…
