“He’s in surgery now. They said he had a lot of internal bleeding and a couple of broken bones.”, he explained. Right then, a doctor came out and asked to speak with Chris’s parents. He told them that the surgery went well and that they were able to stop the bleeding and set the broken bones. They also informed them that Chris would be waking up in the next few minutes and that they should probably be in there when he does. There was a sigh of relief that went through the emergency like a wave when everyone heard this. Chris’s parents followed the doctor back through the doors to see Chris.
