Decent Essays
I have often heard the saying, “when I was hungry you gave me food, thirsty and you gave me water,” and thought to myself that I could battle hunger in my own way. After thinking about different possibilities to help the homeless, I concluded that giving a warm meal would directly fight hunger. By singling out the problem of hunger I was able to put some joy into the hearts of the homeless, and

Since I first moved out to Tempe from last fall 2014 there was an issue that i've been noticing every time I go out on a weekend to Mill Avenue with my friends. Homeless people are scattered all around the area, ones who ask for money, others who ask for weed, and the rest of them who are just there to sleep. This problem is worldwide, but I think it's mandatory to try and decrease it, especially because it's a college town in Tempe,Arizona. There is not much done these days to help with affordable housing for everyone, but it's going to keep increasing if nothing is done. I think the main reason why homeless people gather up at Mill Avenue is because they try to hunt for money from students.…

He demanded to see the receipt, so I left to the cash register to get it.…
