Personal Narrative: Hawaii

Improved Essays
Although my summer was filled with many extraordinary activities, I loved Hawaii the most.

“Ahh Home sweet Vacation?” I stated while I jumped into the memory foam packed bed. I ran towards the window which had a spectacular view of our resort and the ocean. “Wow, look at that!” I eyed the view in front of me, there were waterslides, pools, pools with disco lights inside them, waterfalls, and the ocean was a perfect green blue color that reflected the sunset.
“Can we head down to the pools?” I said playing around with the doorknob.
“Get on your bathing suits and we’ll head right over, Pumpkin.” My excited Mom said as I quickly unpacked and found my bathing suits.

3 minutes Later……

“I am ready!” I jump out of my room and modeled my swimsuit down the

“WOW! Look at that waterslide.” The waterslide ran around the hot tub making loops and high sides then landed into the pool. Sadly the water slide was closed. “And check out the pool.” The pool had blue green water like the ocean, water caves (which surprised me), and it was all made of rock.

1 day later….. My Grandma, Sister, and I head to the pool to try out the waterslide. As we get towards it I watch the sparkly water rush down the slide sweeping kids into the magnificent pool. I go in line to try it, I still can’t believe I am here.
“Next. Wait. Next” I watch kids getting slurped up by the waterslide and screaming in joy, then look at the line no one in front of me, I am next.
“Next.” Me that’s me, I jump into the water slide watching the person 3 yards in front of me the disappear. I get flipped by the current and jolted into the water. That was so…..AWESOME!! I spend 3 more hours on the waterslide and making new friends all of it completely amazing.

7 Days Later….

After My amazing vacation of fun filled activities like Road to Hana, Banana Boat, Luau, etc. vacation finally ends, and with a full heart I have to say Aloha to

So this meant that my brother and sister got to sit in the very front of the roller coaster car, and my dad and I were right behind them. We waited for about 30 seconds for the workers to make sure everybody was strapped in safely. When the carts then started down this tiny slope to a straight away over the water. I was a mix of scared and excited for the ride.…
