I was waiting tables at the diner, _Harlow’s Burgers._ It was almost time for my shift to end, only 15 more minutes till 10:00. When I went back to the kitchen, Martie pulled me aside and said, “Adley, Mr. Chattfield is waiting for you in his regular booth.” I didn’t understand why she called him “Mr. Chattfield” instead of Hert. He was a kind old man, with light blue eyes and thin grey hair. I walked into the diner and saw a stranger sitting in his booth. He was on his phone. I walked up to him and said, “You’re not Hert.” with a scowl. When he looked up, and said, “You’re right, I’m not, but I need to talk to you.” He stepped out of the booth, grabbed my hand, sat me down, then sat down next to me so I couldn’t get out. “Let me out.” I said …show more content…

I had worked at Harlow’s till 11:00 a.m. today. So my Saturday was free! I walked down the street, focused on my phone when I bumped into someone. I immediately said sorry, and my eyes met with the smirking jerk. Josh stood in front of me. “Hello, Miss. Windloe, have you decide on whether or not to accept my proposal?” He said with a wide smirk. I dug in my purse, shoved the document in his face and stormed down the road. I had signed it a couple hours before. “Adley!” He called after me and I could hear his footsteps approaching. When he arrived, his face was slightly flushed and he said, “I cannot marry you unless you let me take you out on a date.” Then, he proceeded to grab my hand and pull me down the street. “Let go of me!” I said in an exasperated tone. "Why should I?" He turned around and asked me. "Plus, we have to pick out our wedding rings." He finished with a wink. I let him drag me along, though I didn't know where we were

I would visit Applebee’s again for several reasons; it is affordable, causal, and the food is really good. As a college student, the first thing that I consider before eating out is how affordable the place is. Compared to Olive Garden, I would say that this restaurant is a lot less formal, less costly, and a lower food quality. Overall, my experience was fun and enjoying because I felt relaxed sitting, laughing, and eating with my friends. When come back next time, I may try a dessert.…

Finding My Angel There is no real answers, why this happens or how it happens because there are no real signs. Many people go in the dark every day about it.
