I was waiting tables at the diner, _Harlow’s Burgers._ It was almost time for my shift to end, only 15 more minutes till 10:00. When I went back to the kitchen, Martie pulled me aside and said, “Adley, Mr. Chattfield is waiting for you in his regular booth.” I didn’t understand why she called him “Mr. Chattfield” instead of Hert.
