Personal Narrative: Growing Up In Public School

Growing up in a family of six, in a small town I was homeschooled. We had a homeschool group we often got together with and we did a lot with church and family. However, I grew up in a very different way than the average public school kid.
Seventh grade rolled around and I was sent to a very small private school which had an average of ten kids per class. I adjusted easily and really enjoyed the social aspect of school. After Freshman year I decided I wanted to go to public school. I had always wanted to go to dances, be in parades and get involved in clubs that had always been inaccessible to me. However, reality hit me like a brick wall my first year at public school. I was quickly overwhelmed by the number of people. I soon noticed that
