Growing up in a divorced home and having both parents with out a college education, money has always been an issue with having low income jobs. My mom is a waitress and my dad works in sales and claims to not have enough money for even child support. I received.... in financial aid. I worked hard in high school, achieving the Lumber Jack scholarship here at NAU, giving me the chance to achieve an education that my parents never got. Unfortunately my parents can not help on paying for college and I have to manage on my own. It has been extremely hard to find the money to pay for textbooks, let alone my own school supplies.
