Personal Narrative: Growing Up In A Competitive Learning Environment

Growing up in a competitive learning environment, I learned how people would do anything for self-benefit. During one of my previous classes, we took a surprise exam and many students were unprepared. Although I was confident that I would pass, a few people next to me developed a plan of academic dishonesty. Furthermore, my teacher assured us of the academic dishonesty policy.
During the exam, I finished writing and stared at the clock. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw my colleagues use their phones to share answers. I wanted to tell the teacher, but I knew they would despise me for it. After the exam, one of my friends revealed that the boy next to me cheated off of my test.
