Personal Narrative: Growing Up For A Young Girl

I was 11 when I went to my first Halloween party. Fifth grade a major time of growing up for a young girl and I was beginning to know the world was changing for me. For years and years, my parents forced me to watch my little brother and hangout with our neighbors, but this year it was different. I can finally go off on my own with who I wanted to, and I finally get a little taste of freedom. My heart raced as I skipped to Raquel’s front door. After putting on our bright pink leotards and ballet shoes, which trust me we're not the most fashionable, we went out to the car to wait on Dianna’s mom. I should mention it was still raining as if the earth would flood outside, this made it slightly hard to hear but we ran out to the car anyway. The cold rain made the humid, hot day not feel as bad as the rest of that summer had been, which was dry and hot. When we got into the car we sat for a bit but then Dianna decided she wanted to turn on the music so she jumps to the front seat of the car.…

Trick-or-Treating Persuasive Essay There should not be a law restricting an age limit for trick-or-treating. Halloween is a holiday, anybody should be able to participate and celebrate it. Halloween is a day for families, friends, and neighbors to interact with each other.
