Personal Narrative: Green Family Dental

Green Family Dental has done what no other dentist has ever done for me; they got me in the chair. Living with a tramatic dental experience has kept me from having dental work done in the past 16 years. After every following dental problems i would deal with the pain, a few times the paon was so excruciating that i went into thw dental office, had xrays done but froze and walked out every single time.

I was reffered to GFD by a family friend after a front tooth had colapsed after being chipped and progressively decaying over a number of years. In the office i was greated by the girls up front; Donna, Veronica, and Jackie. All of them have been very pleasent speaking too, both on the phone and in person about any and all of my concerns or questions.

My first appointment was for a cleaning by Juan; hewasvery friendly and spoke to me throught trying to keep me calm. It was easy for him to see the stress i was in, clinching my hands together and sweating prefusely. The experience wasn't bad at all, no pain only slight tenderness whenever the tools touchet one of many decayed teeth. Just after the cleaning was done they

After taking the pills in their prescribed dose I didnt feel very different but more relaxed. In the dental chair i took another pill to further the sedation. I was completely conscious but relaxed and completely comfortable. Put on my headphones and closes my eyes. The rest is really a blur, i dodnt recall much of anything. Which included the removal of the collapsed front tooth, a bone graft, implant, both upper wisdom teeth, and an upper mollar that only had root left. The doctor who performed the work was Dr.Kimbal, and his assistant Yvette. Dr.Kimball was extremely professional and also very understandinging of my phobia and was careful in his work. The implant, and the other sockets healed without issue. Yvette was quick to confort me when she saw me under distress
