Getting Bit By A Dog

I was taking my time down the steps making sure I don't slip down the wet ones. Also trying not to get so wet myself for the car that my Aunt Anna was waiting for me in. To take me to my grandparents’ house. As I was running to the car,I felt the crunch of the rocks underneath my feet and I heard the crickets chirping.

Getting into the car, I felt the heat of the heater hit me. It felt terrific. Now leaving my driveway and seeing only the sky that was black and white from the stars but then I saw the windshield wipers moving side-to-side. We were driving to my grandparents’ house going from road to road.

When we got there I told everyone “Hi.” Then I told my Aunt Anna “Thank You” for taking me there. Then I went downstairs
