Personal Narrative-Fried Okra

Improved Essays
Fried Okra Typically in the kitchen I am always taking precautions and moving slowly whilst hot things are crackling on the oven top, especially when I was completely alone. But this time a tiny mistake I had made started an unpleasant chain reaction. I was experienced in frying okra--well aware of the dangers of hot oil. Only a few heartbeats later did the fire completely vanish into the baking soda. At this point, I was in way too much shock from this alarming event to perceive the mess I had made. I darted into my parent's empty bedroom and called my mom when she had answered my heart was still racing and I failed to discontinue my uncontrollable shaking. I informed her what had happened and she

In the blistering cold of the Alaskan tundra, an astute woman who went by the name of Kingmeata Etidlooie was prepping her meal for the night in some tin trays that she had bought the last time she had visited the closest town, which was located 93 miles north of her humble abode. Bringing them back, she found them very useful when it came to preparing her dinners every night because she had the ability to separate the main dish and its two sides. As you can imagine, the blustery weather was making this quite difficult, and the food in her tray began to freeze at an increasingly fast rate. Suddenly, the food was rock hard, and she still did not have a fire.…
