Lex charges at frat boy with sledge hammer in hand. He takes a swing at him to which the frat boy stop instantly with his hand. How the hell? There’s three men that walk up to us, the middle who looks like a cartoon smiles widely, while two others, one on each side of his wear motionless faces. “We’re just getting started,” the one in the middle says, “But a good start, you passed the test. You may have not killed him, sadly, but you still passed.”
“Why would I kill him?” Lex asked.
“Because, that’s what you do.” he sighs, then turns to me. “I do apologize miss Ellie, but if it’s any consolation you passed too. Oh, and by the way I’m Theodore, but please, call me Vice. Now, it’s finally time to meet the man in charge.”
