Fractured Wrist By: Charles Roberts (Control)

To this day I still remember everything clearly like it all happened a month ago, but at least I don’t remember the pain. There were so many things I could have done differently, but what happened has happened; no control. Back in 6th grade around late August, early September where it all started. It was an alright day at school like most days, nothing major really happened. The day kind of hard to remember, just because it was a regular day, but my friend did invite me to his house for his birthday.
I Asked my mom and she was alright with me going, I'm pretty sure I stayed over too with the other people going. This wasn’t the first time going and mom and his parents got along well. I don’t really

Before watching Netflix we were doing random things, that I don't remember. We started to watch Stranger Things, then went to sleep scared.
Do I need to explain anything better The next day is when everything had started. My friend's dad had bought us donuts, and side note my friends birthday was like a week later from his birthday. I wish I had some sort of control over what happened. They didn't understand what was going on with me. When they finally realized that it was serious, my friend’s mom got involved and gave me a cast.

I found out I fractured my wrist, then another had gone to find someone to make me a cast. I used my friend's mom's cheap cast for a week or so at school until I got my cast. This was the story of how I fractured my

was injured in November 2007 in Kandahar, Afghanistan. I was commanding the vanguard of a combat team leaving a patrol base to conduct a night operation in the Zharay district. Shortly after our departure and ‘shake-out’ into formation, my command vehicle was hit by a Command-Wired IED that defeated the armour and safety systems aboard our Light Armoured Vehicles. The initial blast and subsequent fire that spread to the ammunition and explosives we were carrying generated three Killed-in-Action (KIA) and three Wounded- in-Action (WIA) personnel. All the leadership component within our vehicle was either injured or dead, and the vehicle driver was the only individual able to move us to cover by dragging us behind a concrete block.…
