Personal Narrative: Football In My Life

From a young age I was pushed to be a dreamer and always want the best in life. I always loved football and always wanted to play in college. Little did I know there would be obstacles to set me back a notch. It was the end of the school year and it was time for football season to come around. We had running lifting this whole summer. A lot of people say your junior year is your most important so I was working extra hard, late 12 o'clock lift with my cousin and running the hill at leather lips park after practice. I was emailing coaches non stop to get one step closer to my dream of playing in college. I got emails back from a few D2 and D1 schools inviting me to their games. before we knew it the summer rolled by and we had a scrimmage against hilliard davidson. we struggled moving the ball on offense but it picked up towards the end on throw play our qauterback noah dropped back for a pass there was no where to throw to so he ran about 5 yards planted in the …show more content…
Week one we had our cross road rivals worthington kilbourne this was always a big rivalry for us, we had a good week of practice no one else had any health problems. The day of the game i just tried to keep myself hydrated the first quarter we got off slow we were down 14-0 till the offense could finally score. noah being hurt was definitly. late in the second quater i caught a cramp in my left leg they took me out and i got back in. we found ourselves down 27-10 i was gonna fight not only was it a dream to beat kilbourne but a dream to win my first high school game. Late in the third my leg got caught between a blocker and the ground and it sent a tingling pain through my leg. i satyed in the game and we fought back 24 -27 but with a late fumble the game was over. after the game i talked to my dad i was sad but it was cool to fufill my lifelong dream. but the upcoming week had a lot in store for
