Fitness Freak Fitness has been a big part of my life for two years now. I’ve gotten to the point to where I used to do it for the ladies, but now that I’ve gotten older and realize women come and go. So I now keep motivated and exercise for looks and the benefit of my health.

Two years ago when I was just starting to do my own small workouts, I noticed that training your body hard pays off, but the pain and soreness just seems to never leave. I read that in order for you to make gains you need protein, carbs, fats, and at least 2,000 calories a day depending on your size. I used to hate eating a lot, that’s the reason I’m still small today. But I now fell to realize that if I constantly train myself and only eat one to two meals a day,

I also exercise to see how far I can push myself and how strong I am when doing calisthenics. Calisthenics is a series of body weight training and exercises to achieve bodily fitness. Working out in the gym for me is just like trying to make a homerun in baseball. In order to put on mass and muscle, you have to lift heavy. I remember a time when I was in the gym for the first time and I saw this massive body builder make lifting weights look so simple and easy. So I went over to the bench press and tried lifting 90 pounds for the first time on my own and struggled with the first rep but felt enough energy to do just one more rep. so I went for the second rep and almost crushed my neck in half because of how heavy it …show more content…
We did 65 mph all the way down the road. I soon asked my mom what was wrong and she said it was granny, she’s not waking up! I Panicked and said “God please don’t take my granny from me, please not today.” Finally, when my mom reached my granny’s house, I hurried up and jumped out the passenger door and heard very loud whimpering from inside the house. All I had on was a cut off sleeved shirt and some basketball shorts in 25-degree weather. As Soon As I reached the front door I didn’t bother knocking, I whipped the door open and ran past my aunty who was sobbing in the couch. I continued running past my aunt to the back room where my grandma was and there she

Two AWESOME workouts with Sharon Stewart today! The last ten months have truly changed my life. She has pushed me further than I ever thought possible. Muscle isolation is doing exercises meant to target only one muscle group. This is used to prevent overtraining of all muscle groups like compound movements and to target one specific body part that may be weaker than the rest. Making sure that either one muscle or multiple muscle groups are being overloaded with weights builds the aesthetic muscle mass (Rini 21). As Kwon and Kravitz researched, the high weight from the exercise can help build the desired muscles. This causes the growth and strength that most bodybuilders and weightlifters love to…

There went my busted tire down the long hot highway. I was calm and composed because I knew I had the tools and the spare tire to get us back on the road. I pulled over and opened the trunk of my car to find I was missing the lug wrench. At that moment I knew we were in trouble, so I then took out my phone and stared at its dark hollow screen knowing that I had to call my grandpa for help. I knew he was going to be furious…

For the Nutrition tracker, I decided to use the website My Fitness Pal. I used this site because I have already been using it to track my consumption for the last few weeks as I try to increase my overall health. In my opinion, my diet this week was very disappointing with respect to my diet goals. My diet was severely lacking with respect to its completeness. For the most part I had no real fruits or vegetables, the only consumption of those food groups came as a topping on my burger or other main entrees.…

Earlier this year in January, I decided to start my weight loss journey. I managed to get rid of thirty-seven pounds throughout a period of six months. Along with a massive change of physical appearance, this journey also generated a lot of mixed responses from my family and friends. I heard many comments such as, “look at your bones sticking out of your shoulders stop now, you look unhealthy,” but also, there were others that said, “you look amazing, congratulations, you deserve it”. This giant wave of fluctuating comments got me thinking: what is the difference between looking healthy and looking good?…
