As a member of a club called "The Best Buddies Club", our role as a member of the club was to be assigned a buddy whom suffered physical disabilities for a large majority of their life. Throughout my experience I had met many kids around my age with certain disabilities, and with that I learned about the lives lived by each and everyone of them. A few told me sorrowful stories of a time they were bullied either physically or verbally. It brought great disappointment to humanity as a whole, those kids were one of the sweetest I've ever met. This led our group and I to spread awareness with a motto of "spread the word to end the word", directed at abolishing the use of the word "retard" or as we called it "the r-word".…

She would also have to look decent, I don't want a wife that looks the worst so I can at least admire her more. Zach, the Manager of the Ridgedale Dairy Queen, was my first boss. He’s the kind of guy that I would avoid eye contact with if I were walking across campus alone, over 6 feet, burly, and with big, curly hair and beard. A Thousand Experiences Throughout life, individuals face different obstacles and struggles; my obstacle was my tendency to be shy. For example, when I was faced with social pressures like speaking in front of a class for a presentation, or meeting new people, I would be a nervous wreck. My palms would sweat, my voice would tremble, and it took all the strength I could muster to overcome my irrational fears.
