Annually, as cancer progression occurs the money spent in the United States according to the National Cancer Research (NCI) bounces around, “$4.8 to $5.2 billion per annum on cancer research and treatment development” whereas, the total amount of money invested in the medical field per annum is six times this amount (NCI).
