Darkness all around me is darkness. It feels like I have been floating for forever as if nothing could hold me for too long. There are flashes of colors and light. There's someone holding me. I don't want to leave. I am crying for someone to stay. Who is it? Why is he taking us from her? I hear words in a rough language I feel like I should know what he is saying but whatever it is he says it makes me stop crying. He has honey colored eyes. He looks sad. Why is he sad? Is it because we have to leave her? I can't keep my eyes open any more and as they close darkness takes me again.

Gasping, I wake up with a start sitting up quickly. With a deep breath and a sigh, I lay back down, covering my face with my hand. What woke me up? A dream. I wipe
