“But mom I wanted some cookies!!”, was the first sentence I said when she found me hiding behind the couch in the basement. It was early in the morning, quiet, and everyone was sleeping. We just finished moving to our new house. I was in second grade and as a little kid I always wanted candy and sugar like any other normal kid. My mom was sleeping and was the only one awake. I didn’t want to be alone so I went to go wake up my sister.
“Hanna, wake up!!” I said.
“Go back to bed, It’s six in the morning.” said Hanna.
“We have cookies downstairs and I’m not tall enough to reach them.”
She ignored me and went back to sleep. When I leave her room I go back downstairs and sit there for another two hours just watching TV. All of a sudden Hanna comes walking down the stairs.

I go in the kitchen and show her the cabinet they are in. We both try getting them by standing on a chair. I decided to just get on the counter and grab them. “Hanna, pick me up to help me get on the counter”
As I am getting on the counter I grab onto the cabinets doors. When I pulled them Hanna backed away and then..BANG! I am on the floor with the all the food and cabinet on top of me. When I pulled on the doors the cabinet fell off the wall and landed on top of me. Hanna and I were so sacred and we didn’t know what to do. After I pushed the cabinet and the food off of me, I ran downstairs. Hanna went upstairs to wake up my mom. All I heard was... “MOM!!! WAKE UP!! THE CABINET FELL ON TOP OF MARISSA!”
I hear her get up and run down the stairs to the kitchen. She asked Hanna where I was and she said she didn’t know where I went. They were cleaning up the mess and I was hiding behind the couch trying not to get in trouble. When they were finished with cleaning the mess in the kitchen, my mom went to look for
