This is when I shot out of my bed and ran into the living room where my parents were seated. “Oh hey there you are,” said my mom.
“Yeah, I got home from work about an hour ago. But hey, I was wondering if I could go to a concert in davenport tonight. Amela and I wanted to go together. Is that okay?” I asked.
Both of my parents got up out of their seat. My dad’s face got really red as he spoke, “Why would you even ask that? We need you to go into work tonight. I pulled out my phone and texted Amela back: Can’t go. Sorry. My parents are Nazi’s. I have to go into work AGAIN and then do chores. I walked back into my room, with tears in my eyes, as I redressed myself in my work clothes. After about 40 minutes of being restaurant, I finally had a customer. It was Amela! I asked her what she was doing here and she told me that tonight, she was my fairy godmother and that we were going to that concert. She ripped off my apron and handed me a top, boots, and some leggings to change into. I change in the bathroom and when I came out all the lights were off and the sign was said
