After we found the note, Kylee lost it. Jake and I watched helplessly as we watched her take it out on the furniture upstairs. Surprisingly, she somehow managed to wreck everything in the house. It was particularly interesting to watch her five foot two frame jump on the counters and tear off the doors of the cabinets and throw them across the room.
That was two hours ago. The sun had long ago set and the sky had given into the darkness of night once more. It’s hard to believe that just a few weeks ago everything was normal. No crazy deaths that occurred every day, and most of all, Hannah was safe. Now everything is spinning around in circles.

“Ana, who is this?” Looking up from the floor, I met his gaze and winced at the look he was giving me.
“There’s something I should tell you. No more keeping secrets,” I whispered as I turned to look at Kylee. “It’s time for you to know the truth.”
“Ana? What are you talking about?” Kylee questioned, her eyes wide with unknown answers. I turned away from her, not wanting to see her reaction. Jake came up towards me and clasped my shoulder with his hand. Looking up at him, I saw his once warm gaze turn serious and cold. Taking in a breath, I told them about my mom’s ex-boyfriend, Oliver Steele.
“So, you’re saying that this random guy is going around experimenting on people, ruining lives, and kidnapping innocent people? He sounds like a delight, huh, Kylee?” Jake commented as he nudged said girl in the side as a way to cheer her up.
“Ana, hand me the picture, please.” Kylee said as she got up from the bed and went up to me. I hesitated but gave it to her anyway. She looked down at the picture with a calm expression. I noticed how her blonde hair fell in front of her face and hid the tears she was so desperately wiping away earlier. “I remember playing in your backyard when we were six, and how you insisted on being the leader.” Kylee stated, a small smile gracing her
