"After sitting at the same desk for three years I figured I was beyond seeing anything

new. I was wrong."

I was wrong because I made a decision that

definitely wasn't the right one.... One late night about two years ago I was out walking around thinking about life. That's when I heard someone whisper my name. When I didn't

hear it again, I went to go look where it

came from. It came from the very dark, very

creepy alley that gives me the shivers. I

didn't want to go in there so I just next to

it and yelled in "Who is it,and why did you

call me?" I heard no response so I figured I

was crazy and walked away. I was almost on my

block where my apartment building was, when I

felt a hand on my shoulder.

When I turned around I was

looking into a man's eyes. He was the same

height but about one or two years older than

me. I looked him, both curious and terrified

at the same time. He looked back at me and

said "Hey, didn't you hear me call your name?" I looked at him, getting my confidence

back, "How do you know my name anyways?" He

stopped hesitated and then said

quickly,"Never mind about that. I came to ask

if you want to make your life more

interesting?" I looked at him quizzically, so

he started explaining, "I need you to deliver

something for me, or else I going to be in

big trouble." Once I heard that I took off in

the other direction to my apartment, but he easily caught up to me, grabbed the collar of

my shirt and about choked me. Then he backed

me up to the wall and said, "Ok, if you don't

want to make your life more interesting then

don't." With that he let me go and started

walking away. I stood there for a minute or

two then took off after him. I caught up to

him and we walked in silence for a little

while, then I asked what I have to do.

I probably should stop here because as

I am just going to skip to the part. After

school (that seemed like it took an eternity)

I rushed home, grabbed an apple and headed

outside. I got to the spot and waited. After

about an hour or so the same exact guy

emerged from the alley. We stood there in

silence until he broke it by saying, "This is

what you have to do, bring this top secret

package over to Tony's pizza and give it to

the guy at the counter who should have a name tag that says Ray." I looked at him and then

burst out "This is all I have to do?" He

nodded, then I really exploded "HOW IS THIS

GOING TO MAKE MY LIFE MORE INTERESTING?" All

he said was you want to or not. After a

moment I figured since I was already there I

would do it.

Let me tell you if I could go back and

make a different decision I would. I am just

going to tell you straight out what happened.

When I started off to Tony's Pizza, I met a

police car. I waved and smiled and kept

walking. He got out of his car, stopped me and

said "what do you have in that package?" The

only thing I could was shrug. He then

demanded me to explain so I did. And that is

why I am now in the slammer. I guess

So serene it was almost therapeutic. Paralyzed not with fear, but fascination instead. A front row seat to the most captivating acts of destruction. With glowing beauty, eyes were fixed on the fire, focusing on the heat it continuously radiated, admiring everything it had to offer;everything it had to show. While standing feet away admiring how raw the natural beauty was, the urge grew almost irrepressible, wanting to inch forward simply because it had the effect of drawing you closer and barely being able to listen to rationality because you don't want to miss out on something so grand.…
