A week had passed since Trevor kidnapped me and I still hadn’t told anybody. Mark had been over, and I tried to pretend that everything was normal, but he sensed that something was bothering me. When we made love, I didn’t feel anything for him. I wasn’t sure if it was because of his thumb sized penis or if it was because I couldn’t get what happened between Trevor and me off of my mind. That fool set me up to have his way with me. I wasn’t sure if I was ever going to get over this and I wanted to tell Mark about the encounter, but I didn’t want to get Trevor into any trouble.
I’d been locked inside of my apartment the entire week. I hadn’t even gone to check the mail. My nerves were wrecked, and I peeked out of my windows every hour to see

I meant my house. Trevor bought me a house.”
“Wait one damn minute. This fool kidnapped you and took you to a house that he purchased for you?”
“Yes. It has two bedrooms, a modest size kitchen and living area, a garage and one bathroom.”
“Get out. Are you pulling my leg?”
“I wish I was because this is the part that’s going to knock your socks off. He also purchased a house for his baby mama and him a few miles away from my place.”
“What? I wish you could see my face right now. I’m all sorts of confused.”
“Yes, he wants me to accept the house as a gift, but only if he can come over and have sex with me when he feels like it. And get this, he said that he doesn’t want me to go back to Miami either.”
“That’s crazy.”
“If you think that is crazy, wait until you hear what he did next.”
“What did he do? Drink your bath water?” She asked with a loud cackle.
“No. He put something in my drink and had sex with me while I was passed out.”
“Oh no! He raped you!” She blurted.
“Yes, that’s exactly what he did. He raped me.”
“I’m so sorry that this happened to you. Did you tell anyone else?”
“No. I don’t want to get him in trouble. I know that sounds absurd, but that’s just how I

What do you want?”
“I want you.”
“I’m sorry, but you can’t have me. We are over.”
“Baby, please come to the door. I have something that I want to give you.”
“What do you want to give me? Another pill?”
“No. I need to give you the deed to the house. I’m ready to sign it over to you.”
“I don’t believe you.”
“Just go to the door. I’ll slide it under there, and you can see that I’m serious.”
I waited for a few minutes before I crept up to the window and peeked out of it. I didn’t see him. It was dark, but there was a light behind the building that allowed me to see that he was no longer standing there. As I backed up, I heard another knock. This time, it was at the door. I quickly grabbed my phone from the counter in the bathroom and walked slowly into the living area.
“Is that you, Trevor?”
“Yes, it’s me. Are you going to let me in?”
“No. I’m not.”
“Can you please crack the door open? You can leave the chain lock on. I only want to see you.”
“If I open the door with the chain, will you give me the paper, and then leave?”
“Yes. I promise.”
“Okay,” I said as I unlocked the deadbolt and opened the door.
The first thing I saw was his nose because he held his face in the crack.
“Damn, baby. You smell

Today is going to be just like any other day, I sketched in my morning journal. The morning Baltimore sun shone past the skyscrapers of downtown, and light protruded through the silk blinds that covered half of the picture window in my room. I rose up from my queen bed. The sheets had become untucked and the comforter lay halfway off the edge. My back rested against the mahogany headboard with my head fitting perfectly between two of the wooden posts.…

I remember watching your face as we drove, the radio narrating the recent coming out of Chaz Bono. You said, slapping your hands on the steering wheel and raising your voice in a strident tone of righteous indignation, “Thank God Sunny Bono is dead so he doesn’t have to see what his daughter is doing to herself!” Turning to watch the passing scenery of a Chicago neighbourhood, I sighed softly. It wasn’t the reaction I’d hoped for. We were in town visiting an old flame of yours, Hassan, and you were so enamoured by his company that day that you didn’t seem to notice when I didn’t say another word to you.1-1…

I kneeled down on the roof of an abandoned apartment, watching my next prey. I aimed the SR25 American sniper at the person’s head, click goes the sound of the trigger, before I could look up I saw my victim's body lying limp on fresh concrete with at a puddle of blood surrounding them and one perfect bullet hole through their head. Bystanders immediately pulled out their phones forming a circle around the body. I picked up the sniper, slung it around my back and walked down the steps of the building. The Atlanta sun was beating down on my black clothing my long curly hair feeling like fire, I hopped in my all black Lamborghini Gallardo Nera, driving slowly by the body to see if I finished my job, I smirked knowing I will be getting paid…
