I had opened my eyes ,but couldn’t completely move yet. The only thing I could do was twitch and move my fingers. I just remembered waking up in a lab tied to a metal bed and looking at brains in jars and some chemicals. I also heard somebody say finally after two years I created it. I couldn’t speak ,but I could understand some of what he was saying. He told me that my name was lil pimp. He told me he was my creator. I reached my head up to look at my body ,but my fingers looked to crusty to stare at. I had scars all over my body and my skin looked green. I heard my creator say you are hideous, I have wasted 2 years in a row for some crusty monster. I ran away as fast as I could because I was ugly and looked crusty. I found a shelter

Gray-Stoned Beach I walked along the quiet, winding trail; the smell of a thousand pines filling my nose. There were no people here due to the light rain, but it didn't bother me. It was peaceful. I turned a sharp corner, immediately greeted by a blast of icy ocean air. The Pacific Ocean roared with power in front of me, white caps crashing against the high walls of rock.…

I had the all too real choice between staying awake to live and going to sleep to die. As I stared at the swirling shapes on the wall, I contemplated whether it would even be worth it to fight. I called, as I had done to no avail many times before, for someone to help. Either they could not hear me or they did not care to help. As my eyes started to sag, I thought of never waking up.…

The sun shone overhead as students streamed out of the Academy of Intellectual Development, eager to start a weekend free from the stresses of school. The shadow of the four story facility loomed over half the courtyard. Windows covered most of the building, with polished silver steel taking up the space between. Senna sat in the middle of the courtyard atop the stainless steel fountain resting in the center of the walkway. Senna sat on her white denim jacket separating her from the scalding metal.…
