There was always food in the house and I could always take a shower when I woke up and didn’t have to wait for him. My mom of course made me write him a letter once a week; those got annoying. He would send letters back only once and awhile and when he did he always just said, “Love ya Felicia.” After a few more months I started missing him. I wished that I wouldn’t get blamed every time I don’t do the dishes or forget to do the laundry. It was a pretty good flight. I sat next to my mom and slept the whole time. When we got to the hotel I couldn’t wait. I just wanted to see him right away. My mom made plans for the whole week to keep us busy. We went on boats and went in museums. My favorite day was when we got to shop all day and go to the beach. The day before he graduated we got to go down and see him. It was family day and we got to see where the PT(Physical Training) were staying. We went early in the morning so we could see him do the morning duties. They did their chants and marched. It gave me chills watching him do it and seeing all these men do what they do everyday. When I first saw him I didn’t recognize him. He looked older with his high and tight haircut and he was built; he used to be a stick. It was funny talking to him because he spoke abnormally.. He used so many different terms; I told him he would have to write each one down and describe it to me. I wish I never had to say goodbye. I would’ve done anything for him to stay.
