Personal Narrative-Fairy Farm Land

Improved Essays
I had never been outside of Fairy Farm Land, but I'm pretty sure all the land outside of it was undiscovered. After all, there probably isn't any more than 500 people in the world.

I ran through the darkness until I saw the pink sign that read: "Welcome to Fairy Farm Land" and I stopped to admire it. I decided I should clean it before I left Fairy Farm Land for good.I did my perfect three minute wash and continued on my way.

It was two am snack time and I was starving. I ripped my miniature Ritz from my black backpack and slammed my backpack on the ground(carefully of course).

Unfortunately, when I gently slammed my backpack on the ground, my miniature Bigenator flew out of the opening in my backpack and it hit a black parrot.

"No buts, I've been waiting for someone to move out for twenty years." Louis responded.

That explained his long, pale pink beard.

"Fine. You have no permission to touch my Betsy plant, she likes it whenever I walk her on Saturdays. She gets pretty vicious whenever I'm not around." I said, walking away.

It was 3am snack time, so I took my tiny Ritz crackers out of my backpack and stuffed a hundred into my mouth, after all they were tiny and smaller than bite size. That was all I had to eat since the chaotic day earlier.

I stepped through tall grass when I was completely out of Fairy Farm Land's town limits. My high tops became muddy and I about to turn around to go back to Fairy Farm Land when someone stopped. A tall, young man was lying in the tall grass, sipping something pink.

"Hey. What's up?" The person asked. He was wearing red sunglasses and his hair was as green as the grass.

"Don't ask me: 'What's up?' !" I shrieked.

People these days, they don't know how to talk to one another.

"Okay, then. How are you?" He replied.

"Don't ask me how I am." I yelled.

The guy stared at me curiously.

"What is your name?" I asked.

"Forrest Gump. Just kidding, my name is Michael Clifford. What's your name?" Michael

"Ooh! I love going places! Can I go with you?" Michael replied, packing up what seemed to be a small box. He shoved bottles full of colored liquids into the box, a comb, several hats, and a few rock band shirts into his box. He then snapped his fingers and a snowy owl dropped duct tape down from the sky. Michael taped up his orange box and attached blue straps to it. He then put it on his back, like a backpack.

"Sure." I

Chapter 1: Hammy Runs Away It was a cold night when a small boy ran, with nothing but the clothes on his back and a map of the surrounding area. It was near midnight when the boy stopped running. Assignment 2 In my opinion, Tom Feelings’ pictorial of The Middle Passage is not a useful tool because of its blurry drawings, the order of pictures and large room for interpretation. The pictorial seems to value quantity over quality, as most of the drawings are very blurry. Although the gray scale makes the pictorial look older, the shading in the drawings clumps everything together and it is difficult to see the details.…

“Please state your name, age, and which piece you will be auditioning with today,” said the woman behind the table as she picked up her pen to take notes. I squeaked out the information she asked for, nervously shifting weight from one leg to the other and picking at the bottom of my dress. I performed the piece that I had practiced every night for a week leading up to this moment, making awkward eye contact with the director after the song had ended, and I scurried back to my seat to watch the other auditions for Soundwave Glee Show Choir. A week later, I stepped into the first rehearsal. I was instantly greeted by a tall freckled girl a few years older than me and a curly-haired boy with a guitar: the first of many friends I would make…

Like most elementary school-aged children, when the eleven-thirty bell rang, I would rejoice, for it was lunch time. Reaching into my backpack, grabbing my lunch bag and water bottle, sitting down at my desk, and eating my lunch had become a ritual I was accustomed to. This all changed approximately three fourths of the way through my fifth-grade year, when the absolute worst possible thing that could have happened to me, happened to me, leaving me forever incapable of eating in front of people or in public places. I am Megan. I have experienced a psychologically traumatizing incident at such a young, impressionable age that the truth of this inncident has left a permanent scar on not only my self-image and self-worth, but my lifestyle.…

Lucy and Jesus After “First-Time Flyer FAQ” on page 189 I was restlessly sitting in my Coach class chair, as Olly was asleep like a baby. The flight was surprisingly very calm except for a bit of turbulence here and there. It’s remarkable how mankind was able to find a way to get big hunks of metal to fly through the air. I wish I could do something like that with my life, except that I’ll never have the opportunity to do so. “How are you doing Olly?”…

I’ve always had the impression that fairytales were innocent stories of finding true love and living happily ever after, like the way Disney depicted them to be. I never thought about where these stories came from and the different themes and symbols that were relevant of that time. Some of the things I’ve learned about fairytales have not only shocked me, but has also made me reevaluate everything I know about fairytales. Something I never knew about fairytales is that they weren’t always for children. I’ve always associated them with a younger audience so thinking that these stories were written for adults enjoyment is really crazy to believe.…
