“Although”
From now although miles away to reach a 2 hour drive from our cities apart, our time zones, only time can tell where we’d be at once a year we meet if only it’d be longer, the days become shorter, hours fast forward I wonder where are you at?, looking up the horizon, of that stars dwell the skies, do nights dim the paths, on my mind sometimes, to when I walk by the past, knowing you have your own busy life, and mine, yet I think about you at times, when the next full moon arises along with howls coming, is that a sign? will we we see each other atlast , although we may be far apart, the problem isn’t that because distance doesn’t matter, for will see each other, soon perhaps, but now all’s well, for I’d be waiting, here , to see

Subject: This poem is essentially about a love between two people and how that love can last even when they are far away from one another. Paraphrase: As the righteous men pass away mildly and mumble to their good conscious to leave, while most of their depressed friends say that the breath has gone now, but others still say no: so allow us to melt away and to be silenced, no tears shed, or sighs; it was the degradation of what made us happy to tell the community about our love for one another. As the earth moves, more harm is made and fear escalates, and the men wonder why it did such a thing, however, being alarmed of the world turning is truly nothing to worry about. Boring love of our world between two lovers can not, in it of itself,…

In the last stanza as mentioned before, the author uses a metaphor, comparing a clock to the “luminary sky”, conveying possible hopelessness. The sky meaning that there is a possible end to the hopelessness but the end is in unearthly height, which is unreachable. The ambiguity of time represents that the author is trapped in a timeless desolation which he cannot escape from. The author mentions distance throughout his work, whether between him and the moon, the distance he walks at night or distant cries he hears.…

I was 23 before I was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder. As far back as Elementary school I knew that there was something “off” in the way that I processed information. That my ability to do well academically was somehow hindered by not having certain tools that I needed, tools I wasn’t even aware existed. In high school, I began to augment my deficits with strengths. Where my grades were lacking I made up for it through creativity; I excelled at art and photography.…

I was eight and in California visiting with my vegetarian grandparents. We were being seated in a vegan restaurant for a late lunch. Tucked inside the glossy menu was a printed brochure regarding the meat industry. I stared at the cow on the front, its big brown eyes staring out at me. I scanned the pamphlet and read the information about the cruelty in the food industry.…

I entered the door of my local high school, and I felt the uneasiness fly away. I moved through the hall where on the side I saw the countless golden and silver trophies. As I continued down the hall I saw a desk that has four pieces of paper on the bottom with letters that were organized through last name. A's-G's were on the far left while S's-Z's were on the right. I went toward the desk to get my schedule.…

In third grade, a boy named Blake - a notorious troublemaker - would chase every girl during class trying to kiss her on the lips. Most of the girls gave in eventually. It was easier to give in than to keep running. When it was my day to be chased, I turned to him, grabbed his glasses off his pudgy face, and stomped on them in front of all the kids on the blacktop. He ran to the principal's office and cried.…

I still remember the day when I first realized I hurt someone I soon regretted what I said, me saying harmful words to other people, posting embarrassing photos of other people. One night, I posted a photo and a threatend status online about this one person. The day when I realized I played the wrong game with the wrong person. The date was June 6th, 1976 at 3 am, I was driving and I received a message from my phone. A message that haunts me today, “you will regret what you just posted about me” –Unknown number.…
