Being put on a better path

We live in a very small and quiet neighborhood in Monett, me and my family. There are many different beautiful houses around, and a good number of large trees that reach high up into the sky. There is church at one end of the street and a clear and quiet cemetery on the other. We came over here to the United States in 2002 and began living in the hot and sunny, California. Not being able to find a job while having to pay the high living expense, we decided to move somewhere else. After my father had traveled around job hunting alone, in 2008 he found a job here in Monett. After that, we were promised no more moving and a better life. He is 5'5” and weighs 151 pounds. His head is fairly round, but a little bit square at the lower half. The color of his eyes are a really generic brown, he wears glasses and has black hair with a receding hairline. He’s usually always wearing cargo shorts, work boots, white socks, a second hand T-shirt and a baseball cap. On weekends he likes wearing jeans, a tucked in dress shirt with a belt, but still, and always, that signature baseball cap. He’s usually quiet and to himself, but has a strong voice and greets you with a firm smile or a hard pat on the back. Calm and relaxed is what I would most likely describe his behavior …show more content…
Firstly and more concerning, the stress. Having to graduate early usually means a whole number stacking up on an already large one. The sheer number of work in one year, homework, tests, study guides, and projects, all that rushed just for a seemingly minor achievement. Under almost constant assignments and accumulation of work seemed problematic and unfavorable. Next would be what happens after high school. With one less year to prepare, it can be a lot on top of the already compact last year of high school. At that time I had not even thought about what college I was going to go to. Although I did not fear this, my father was also concerned about harassment from those older than me in college. Things like that could effectively affect my studies, and ultimately hurt my

Though these two environments are quite different, Something that didn't change was the family I would be raised in. Growing up in a family which which has taught me to respect my culture and morals as well as embrace my religion has paved the way for me as an individual to take a more broad understanding of the world. The person I am today reflects not only what my family has made out of me, but my surroundings as well. Even though there are only three years between your freshman and senior years, the change that occurs is significant. Some of the change is good and some bad. As a family unit we knew we wanted to live closer to North Dakota, but my dad did not want me growing up in the oil field. We first looked in Bozeman, Montana, but while it provided us with a home for a time, the location did not work. Next, we explored Billings, Montana, but with no family or connections in the town, we ended up having to rent hotel rooms for the summer. While a hotel is fun and new for vacations, after a time it no longer brings comfort. In the end, we finally found a place to rent; my mom went back to college; and we were able to enjoy my dad’s company each…

Freshman year was a big change for me. I thought that it would be like middle school, in which I didn’t have to study or apply myself, and I could still succeed. I quickly found out that this was no longer the case, however, instead of of adapting to the new situation that surrounded me, I just decided not to work. I believed that school wasn’t important. That destructive belief continued through freshman year and starting onto sophomore year, leaving me with a horrible gpa.…

An NCIC / FCIC check of the attached tag revealed it to not be assigned to a vehicle. The vehicle had been observed parked in front of the Grand BLV Motel for approximately thirty to forty minutes with a W/F seated in the front passenger seat. The Port Richey Police Department has received information from multiple sources and reveived multiple complaints about the sell / use of illegal narcotics at the Grand BLV Motel. Officer D. I am in an office at the Carlmont Highschool main building. There are people I know there – my family, some staff members – people I haven’t seen before – police officers (detectives) and school counselor – and also people I don’t know if I know them or not. The stress is increasing, intensifying and I feel my heart in my mouth (my mouth is dry.) There is a large old light brown wooden desk at the right side of the office and a couple of couches and a chair on the other side.…

Emotionally, my life at 15 years old was a living hell with the damage already done. By now I had already been addicted, to something so wonderful, something so smooth and something so life changing. Maybe I fell in love with the color of it, since white has always been a favorite of mine, or maybe the way it ran through me, but I know for sure I loved the feeling it brought me. City lights wrapped around me as I headed towards Brookhaven, Georgia with two of the closest people I had. The driver always sped, but this time she was going so fast I felt like I was drunk.…
