My family loves to go camping in our camper. One summer we all came to a decision that it would be fun to try a new campsite; that we had never gone to before. After looking at different sites that are scattered around Iowa, my dad discovered one in the Des Moines area. The sound of people conversing filled the atmosphere, the birds sung in a high pitched whistle, and the sound of wind rustled within the trees.…

Anticipated, I disembarked from the airplane as soon as I saw bloody dead bodies lying down on the dry, cracking floor from my clear glass window. From its appearance, the country seemed deserted, looking as if it was abandoned for the past hundred years. As I continued my walk in the airport, waiting for my administration work to be finished, I looked out the big glass window, observing local citizens who are suffering from the deserted environment, malnutrition, deaths, poverty, depression. Contrasting to the fresh, natural air I breathe, the cozy apartment I live in, the captivating colourful secret garden I had back home; to the unhygienic environment, dry weather and war which local citizens are suffering from. My life is full of freedom and happiness.…
