"Alexis! Wake up you have to take Sophie to the vet!" my mom yelled. As I got up Sophie, a Boston terrier, raced into my room barking like a maniac. After Sophie came my mom carrying my traveling dog crate and a leash. "Mom, you know she doesn't trust you anymore to put her in the crate. That is all your fault. The last time you put her in you grabbed her the legs and stuffed her in." I said. My mom rolled her eyes and plopped herself down on my bed. I grabbed Sophie and put the crate in front of her. She walked gingerly into it like it was a trap. I locked the crate and took it downstairs to the kitchen. I filled a bowl full of Captain Crunch for me and a bowl of dog food for Sophie. I let Sophie out to eat and then gobbled down my food. "Bye Mom. I'm …show more content…
Quickly I put Sophie in the crate and hopped on the bus with hopes of getting to the vet's on time. We finally got to the vets and there were so many dogs in the office. There were poodles, mixes, Labradors, Dalmatians, etc. I stopped to pet each one before signing in at the desk in the front. They called Sophie's name and we walked over to the room Sophie was to get her shots at. She got her shots and a couple of treats for later. I walked out of the office with Sophie in her crate and decided to go check out the new candy store for dogs and humans. This new candy store was supposed to have the one thing that all the other stores didn't have: sour gummy worms. Sour gummy worms were rare to get because most stores couldn't afford to buy enough to make their money back. Sour gummy worms could be eaten by dogs as well if you got the regular ones. So, I ran all the way to the candy store and looked with amazement at the store. It was covered with splotches of different colors that had different types of candies painted on them. The name was La Dolce Vita translated that meant The Sweet Life in
