Throw me to the wolves and I’ll return leading the pack. My life has had ups and downs but I never knew how far those downs could take me in life. Everyone has a talent ,but I guess I haven’t found mine yet. My personal quality is being patient and knowing how to react through tough situations in life. When I was a little girl I never liked school or cared about my grades. My mother would always stay up with me to help me out in my homework. Every night what went through my mind was that I wasn’t smart enough, until one day all that changed when my mom told me to never think that way. She said “ Everyone is smart in their own way, you're smart, you just need to ask for help. Don’t be afraid to ask”. I started Middle School and I wanted to have good grades and I had set a goal. My goal was to ask for help and get good grades. I would stay after school everyday to get …show more content…
It was different now, and all I could ever think about was being positive and I learned how to set goals in life. There was something different about how I was feeling about school; I like school. My first year in High School was good I was able to reach to a 3.0 GPA. I was really happy about it,but I noticed that I could reach higher. I choose to set another goal for my second year of High school. I wanted to push myself more and I decided I wanted to set the goal of accomplishing a 4.0 GPA all year long. I knew it wasn’t going to be easy. I wasn’t going to give up and if I did fail I was going to get back up and keep going. As my second year started of high school started I was feeling really good about myself. I was also able to get a job. Working and going to school was really difficult, but I knew I could do it and I wasn’t going to stop. There was a couple teachers that didn’t believe in me but that didn’t stop me. I was able to finish my year with a 4.0 GPA. I felt happy, but seeing my mom happy made me proud of myself because she always pushed me to do
